All of the dinos were mate boosted of course. Dodos should lays eggs often trikes only when mated. So it wont hatch into a baby just an egg you can cook and eat. Dodos are basically the chickens on the game and chickens can lay eggs without mating they just wont be fertilized. They have to mate to lay an egg and have a baby. My tribe has 16 scorpions, 24 dilos, and 16 raptors (among many other dinos not watched as closely), and over a 5 hour period of near constant observation only 1 scorpion egg was found, 0 dilo and 0 raptor eggs. After the patch in question, I collected over 2 dozen eggs in two days. Once it has the egg you can take the egg from it and there won't be any aggro. Before the change in egg laying involving owner presence, I got very very few eggs (maybe one every three days). It seems to me the egg laying rates have gone down dramatically, after increasing dramatically with the change in whether or not the owner need to be present or not for laying to occur. Since the last patch where male egg laying was cut, and only mate-boosted females were supposed to lay eggs, I've seen raptors and trikes not mate boosted lay eggs.
